Un-Masking Birch Trees

4th Grade students studied about the environment of Birch Trees. Students learned about masking in artwork and how to us it within their work. Students used watercolor to create their Birch Tree forest and added shadow details in their work.

Snowy Cityscapes

6th Grade used two dimensional and 3 dimensional shapes to create a beautiful snowy cityscape. Students added their own details and color choices, making their work unique. Students used parallel lines to create their structures.

Monet's Lily Pond Frogs

1st grade students learned about the artist Monet and his beautifully famous Lily Pond paintings. Students learned how to draw a simple frog in art. We used tempera paint for the background of their artworks to mimic Monet's dash-like style.

Picasso Inspired Portraits!

7th Grade Students learned about the artist Pablo Picasso and used his method of abstraction. They used this inspiration to create their own crazy portraits.
